Steven Koch is a partner in Haynes and Boone’s Finance Practice Group in New York. He focuses his practice in real estate law. He has closed many large, complex transactions for a variety of clients, including financial institutions, venture funds and private developers. He has been involved in joint ventures, multi-state lending, loan workouts, development work, sale-leaseback transactions, the purchase and sale of real properly and loans, and construction contracting.
For the past several years, Steven’s primary focus has been in closing or buying subordinate debt positions such as mezzanine loans, B Notes, junior participations and preferred equity investments, on behalf of a variety of institutions.
