December 14, 2018

Bloomberg Big Law Business quoted Haynes and Boone, LLP Administrative Partner of the London office Brad Richards in an article about how lawyers are helping clients navigate the uncertainty around the U.K.’s looming exit from the European Union.

Here is an excerpt:

The parliamentary vote scuttled this week on U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit plan only raised more questions for clients doing business in Britain.

Haynes and Boone London administrative partner Brad Richards told Bloomberg Law the trouble is that even with the Brexit deadline looming, no one knows what the split will look like.

“My friends in the U.K. in the business world generally want the government to follow May’s plan because it would give them certainty, and the business world wants certainty,” he said. “But lawyers thrive in periods of uncertainty.”
