Businesses have seen a notable change in the compliance environment from the agency. Accordingly, we summarized recent new regulations and proposed regulations, such as the controversial Injury Illness and Prevention Program or ?I2P2.? Our discussion included enforcement trends regarding occupational noise, fall protection, the new Field Operations Manual, use of the General Duty Clause, and others. We reviewed significant decisions from the Review Commission, including the current status of cases regarding OSHA?s ability to pierce the corporate veil. These and many other topics were covered to give attendees a preview of what to expect and prepare for from OSHA in 2011 and beyond.
