What will be covered: Employers continue to face an ever-increasing volume and variety of workplace-related lawsuits creating challenges for legal counsel and human resource professionals. This program will focus on current trends and strategies to reduce employers' exposure.
Who will be presenting: This seminar will be presented by experienced Haynes and Boone attorneys who exclusively practice labor and employment law. Haynes and Boone Labor and Employment attorneys regularly advise clients on ways to reduce the risk of employment litigation and how to defend against it when litigation cannot be avoided.
CLE:
Texas: This course has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of Texas Committee on MCLE in the amount of 4.25 credit hours, of which 0.5 credit hours will apply to legal ethics/professional responsibility credit.
California: This activity is approved for MCLE credit by the State Bar of California in the amount of 4.25 credit hours, of which 0.5 credit hours may be claimed for legal ethics/elimination of bias/the prevention, detection, and treatment of substance abuse or mental illness that impairs professional competence.
New York: This transitional program has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the New York State CLE Board for a maximum of 5.0 credit hours, of which 4.5 credit hours can be applied toward the Areas of Professional Practice requirement, and 0.5 credit hour can be applied toward the Ethics and Professionalism requirement.
CPE: This program is approved for 3.5 CPE credit hours. (no prerequisite required).
HRCI: This program has been submitted to the HR Certification Institute for review.
