Haynes and Boone Partner Judith Elkin is a co-chair and will be a panelist at the International Bar Association Annual Conference in Tokyo October 19-24, 2014. The program will address the pitfalls for cross border lenders when a loan goes into default under the laws of various jurisdictions or when the borrower becomes insolvent. Panelists will discuss recent case law as well as best practices for lenders, both in drafting loan documents and enforcing rights under them.
