Under the auspices of the Association of Corporate Counsel, Haynes and Boone and LyondellBasell jointly sponsored a legal symposium on October 28 regarding international corporate compliance. The symposium addressed how to respond to an international investigation, hot topics in international compliance, including anti-corruption, export controls, and antitrust, and best practices in shaping an international compliance program. More than 170 people attended. Among the speakers was Steve Tyrrell, the Fraud Section Chief of the Criminal Division for the U.S. Department of Justice.
