Haynes and Boone lawyers Purvi Patel Albers, Albert Tan, and Phil Kim will be delivering presentations and participating on various panels during the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association Convention in Austin, Texas, November 7-10, 2019.
Purvi Patel Albers will present "Powering Change: Women in Innovation and Creativity." The discussion will include personal experiences as a woman in leadership, observations about the challenges women face that are specific to the field of intellectual property, and how to sidestep obstacles to your business or career.
Albert Tan will be speaking on a panel session entitled “Guardians of the Globe” at the 2019 National Asian Pacific American Bar Association Convention. The panel will discuss how to get your foot into the door, how to use your foreign law degree in the United States, and how to work for an international firm in the U.S.
Phil Kim will present “Gamechangers and Tightrope Walkers: How Digital Health Companies Can Balance Innovation and Government Compliance with Data Use, Artificial Intelligence, and Virtual Health" as part of a CLE panel about Digital Health at the 2019 convention.
