Haynes and Boone, LLP is pleased to host this complimentary seminar in which our OSHA?lawyers?will share critical changes from the agency initiated in 2011.

?

Our presenters, as members of the Occupational Safety and Health Law Committee of the American Bar Association, will be sharing breaking news from the annual Committee meeting. The Committee brings representatives from the Secretary of Labor, the Review Commission, and the Department of Labor?s Office of the Solicitor from Washington D.C. to share significant developments, decisions, and initiatives. In turn, you will have the opportunity to learn about significant changes that are taking shape in 2011 from the critical players that comprise OSHA?s various branches of compliance and enforcement.

?

Businesses have seen a notable change in the compliance environment from the agency. Accordingly, we will summarize recent new regulations and proposed regulations, such as the controversial Injury Illness and Prevention Program or ?I2P2.? Our discussion will include enforcement trends regarding occupational noise, fall protection, the new Field Operations Manual, use of the General Duty Clause, and others. We will review significant decisions from the Review Commission, including the current status of cases regarding OSHA?s ability to pierce the corporate veil. These and many other topics will be covered to give the audience critical information to address changes from OSHA in 2011 and beyond.
