Natasha Breaux

As an appellate litigation practitioner, Natasha Breaux routinely advocates in federal and state appellate courts, such as the United States Supreme Court, Texas Supreme Court, Fifth Circuit, and Texas Courts of Appeals. She also often serves as appellate counsel on trial teams, which entails collaborating on long-term case strategy, preparing dispositive motions, crafting the jury charge, and preserving error.

As a former law clerk to federal judges at both the appellate and trial level, Natasha understands first-hand how appellate and trial courts make decisions. Her experience and reputation for excellence is reflected in professional honors that include being named in the top “Up-and-Coming 50 Women” and “Up-and-Coming 100” by Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars and recognized in the “Ones to Watch” category of Best Lawyers in America.

Natasha is an active leader of numerous legal organizations, including serving on the council of the Texas State Bar Appellate Section, as chair of the Houston Bar Association Federal Practice Section, and on the editorial board of The Houston Lawyer magazine. In addition, she frequently authors articles and gives presentations on appellate matters, ranging from reasons for reversal on appeal to preservation of error at trial.

As a native Houstonian, Natasha is active in her community, including regularly volunteering to represent clients pro bono and as a United Way Young Leader. Before her legal career, Natasha received her MBA and worked in business operations for an international company. She also worked abroad for a year. Through these experiences, she gained knowledge about international business operations, which allows her to better understand the goals and challenges of her international business clients.
