Joseph Dietrich

Joe Dietrich is an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the Orange County office of Haynes and Boone. He represents clients in a variety of business litigation, intellectual property, and labor and employment matters. Joe is adept at all stages of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, mediation, and arbitration. He has significant experience in contract disputes, trade secret, copyright, and trademark litigation.

Joe also maintains a robust practice in labor and employment disputes, skillfully representing management in all types of employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations.

Joe earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. In law school, Joe was a Board Member for the Hastings Moot Court Competition Team. As a competitor, Joe’s team was crowned the national champions of the Tulane Appellate Sports Law Moot Court Competition, where his team also won the Best Brief award.

While an undergraduate at UC San Diego, Joe was a member of the Division I Men’s Water Polo team, where he was a Division I All-American in 2013 and a three-time participant in the NCAA Final Four.
