Abbey Gauger is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group in the New York office of Haynes and Boone. Prior to joining Haynes and Boone, Abbey practiced with an internationally-recognized law firm, representing many household names in a wide range of high-profile litigations in both federal and state courts in New York.

Abbey’s practice includes complex commercial, intellectual property, and real estate litigation matters. Her prior experience includes representing a renowned mass media company in corporate governance disputes; defending an insurer against breach of contract claims in excess of $1.4 billion; and representing a Fortune 500 financial institution against claims of benchmark rate manipulation.

Abbey graduated first in her class from New York Law School, where she was the Executive Notes and Comments Editor of the New York Law School Law Review. Abbey has a strong commitment to pro bono and has represented dozens of New York City tenants facing wrongful eviction or rent overcharge in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn housing courts.
