
Forrest Gothia
Forrest Gothia is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Dallas office.
His practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications relating to the oil and gas industry, including mechanical and chemical technologies. Forrest also prosecutes design applications and helps clients with general IP counseling.
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in petroleum engineering, Forrest decided to use his experience and knowledge of the oil and gas industry to assist clients in furthering their business objectives by protecting their IP. During his time at Texas A&M University School of Law, Forrest focused his studies in patent law, where he participated in the school’s Patent Clinic drafting patent applications and responding to Office Actions from the USPTO.
