Dr. Reza Kalbasi is a patent agent in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the Orange County office of Haynes and Boone, LLP.

His practice is focused on wireless patent prosecution including 5G technology.

Prior to his legal career, Reza worked for several small and large semiconductor companies for several years conducting research and developing cutting edge wireless communication technologies. He has a diverse set of knowledge in wireless communications technologies ( GSM, WCDMA, LTE, Wi-Fi, 5G), machine learning and artificial intelligence, radio frequency (RF), digital signal processing (DSP), radars, and hardware and software architectures. Reza is author of several technical journal and conference papers for various IEEE Transactions and proceedings.
