Morgan Smith
Morgan Smith is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the Dallas office of Haynes Boone. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments.
During her time at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, Morgan served as Articles Editor of the SMU Law Review Association and worked in the SMU Small Business and Trademark Clinic as an Associate Member of the State Bar of Texas.
- Represented Liberty Energy Inc. in its purchase of Siren Energy Companies LLC, a Permian-focused integrated natural gas compression and compressed natural gas delivery business.
- Represented a private equity buyer in the acquisition of Elevate Credit, Inc. through a cash merger.
- Represented Wilson Electronics, LLC, a leader in cellular signal repeater technology, in the cross-border acquisition of Zinwave Communications.
- Represented Trive Capital, LLC in connection with its investment in Kittyhawk, Inc., a leading provider of Hot Isostatic Pressing services for a variety of industries including space, commercial aerospace, defense, and medical applications.
- Represented Valesco Industries in its investment into North American Kitchen Solutions, Inc.
- Represented New Dairy Opco LLC d/b/a Borden Dairy Company in its sale of certain assets relating to production facilities in Texas to Hiland Dairy Foods Company, LLC, a distributor and manufacturer of dairy products.
