Attorney Alan Rosenthal Joins Haynes and Boone

HOUSTON – Haynes and Boone, LLP, a full-service corporate law firm, announced that Alan Rosenthal has joined its Houston office as Partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group.

Mr. Rosenthal has worked for more than 30 years with all aspects of patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret litigation, most recently in the firm of Rosenthal and Osha, which he co-founded.  Mr. Rosenthal also served as a founding partner of the Houston office of Fish and Richardson and served as partner and Director of Intellectual Property in the trial department of Baker Botts.

Among his accomplishments, Mr. Rosenthal litigated disputes involving technologies varied as digital electronics, telecommunication and water purification.  He has worked with many oil industry clients regarding seismic testing, drilling, well logging, tubular connections and pipelines.

Mr. Rosenthal earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and a B.S. in electrical engineering from Princeton University, graduating summa cum laude.  He has been named for several years to the Best Lawyers in America database.  Mr. Rosenthal has also been honored by Inside Houston magazine as one of the “Best Lawyers in Houston” and by Texas Monthly magazine as a “Texas SuperLawyer.”
