Attorney Lawrence “Jack” Hadden Joins Haynes and Boone

HOUSTON – Lawrence “Jack” Hadden, an experienced corporate benefits and compensation expert, has joined the Haynes and Boone, LLP Houston office as an Of Counsel attorney.

Mr. Hadden’s expertise includes assisting clients with qualified pension plans, health and welfare plans and executive compensation. He has also advised companies on ERISA and federal income tax due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions, fiduciary issues, employment agreements, COBRA issues, cafeteria plans, and a wide variety of other tax and ERISA-related issues.

Since 2004, Mr. Hadden has served in a variety of prominent Washington, D.C., law firms as a contract attorney. Prior to March 2004, he served as an Americans with Disabilities Act investigator for the U.S. Department of Justice, where he reviewed cases and developed strategies for investigating discrimination claims.

Mr. Hadden was graduated with his J.D. degree by Florida State University with highest honors, and received his LL.M. in Taxation and Certificate in Employee Benefits from Georgetown University. He is licensed in Texas, Florida and the District of Columbia, and is a member of the Houston  Bar Association and the Texas Bar Association's Tax Section.
