Clayton Youth Enrichment Services Honors Haynes and Boone Lawyers


FORT WORTH – Clayton Youth Enrichment Services (YES!), a non-profit organization providing before and after school child enrichment programs at elementary and middle schools in Tarrant County, has awarded Haynes and Boone, LLP Partner Karen Denney the Friend of Clayton Award, and Associate Lisa Congleton the Community Champion Award at the organization’s annual community and staff appreciation event.

Clayton YES! recognized Denney for her nine years of service as an active board member, most recently serving as the board of director’s vice president; while Congleton was honored for her pro bono services in advising on Clayton YES!’s trademarks relating to several child enrichment programs.

At Haynes and Boone, Denney serves as a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice and represents clients in employment litigation and arbitration matters involving a variety of claims. She is also Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Congleton is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property, Trademark, and Social Media Practice Groups and focuses her practice in the area of intellectual property law, where she concentrates on all aspects of trademark and copyright law.
