Clients Label Haynes and Boone a Service Celebrity in BTI Survey


BTI Consulting Group has once again named Haynes and Boone, LLP as one of the top tier law firms in the country for client service in its just-released 2014 Client Relationship Scorecard.

The scorecard rated the firm in the Celebrity category, meaning clients give it “frequent recommendations and sincere votes of confidence.” In selecting Haynes and Boone for that designation out of 650 law eligible law firms, BTI researchers found that it is “prized by clients,” making it “well positioned to leverage its notoriety into market leadership.”

“The Celebrities outperform nearly 80 percent of the market serving large corporate clients,” the BTI report said.

Findings were based on a survey of more than 500 corporate counsel at Global 500, Fortune 1000, and billion-plus dollar companies. Corporate counsel in 17 industries were asked to identify their law firms and assess whether their outside firms regularly meet client expectations and how they would categorize the strength of the relationship.

This latest honor for the firm comes on the heels of two other recent client service accolades from BTI. Late last year, the research company named Haynes and Boone one of the best-branded law firms in the country, selecting it as an Honor Roll member in seven of a dozen possible categories.

The firm also continued its string of consecutive years being named to the BTI Consulting Group’s “Client Service A-Team” ranking, which identifies the top law firms for client service through a national survey of corporate counsel. The 2013 edition of the BTI report names the firm to the Honor Rolls in 12 of 17 activities driving superior client relationships.
