Former Trinity Industries International Counsel Joins Haynes and Boone


DALLAS – E. Webb Spradley has joined the International Practice Group in the Dallas office of Haynes and Boone, LLP as Of Counsel.

Mr. Spradley comes to Haynes and Boone after spending the last 10 years as International Counsel at Trinity Industries, Inc., a publicly traded manufacturing company based in Dallas.

“Webb brings a unique perspective that is a strategic complement to our growing international practice,” said Tim Powers, chair of the group. “His extensive experience in cross-border matters will benefit both U.S. companies looking to do business overseas and vice versa.”

Mr. Spradley’s practice focuses on transactional matters, including international joint ventures, cross-border contracts, foreign government regulation, and overseas distributorships and licensing arrangements. He is primarily involved with Latin America, but also handles matters related to India, China, Eastern Europe and elsewhere.

Mr. Spradley previously held positions with International Hospital Corporation, a developer of for-profit hospitals in Latin America, and with Vari-Lite, Inc., a worldwide provider of computerized stage lighting. He was also a Foreign Service Officer in The U.S. Department of State, serving in Cuba, Antigua and Japan.
