Four Haynes and Boone Lawyers Featured in Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers and Rising Stars


WASHINGTON, D.C. – Four Haynes and Boone, LLP lawyers have been recognized in Washington, D.C.’s 2014 Rising Stars and Super Lawyers annual award listings.

Partners Kenneth G. Hurwitz (Energy & Natural Resources) and Jeffrey A. Wolfson (Intellectual Property) were once again selected as Super Lawyers.

Associates Scott A. Cunning and Nora Whitehead made their debut in the Rising Stars list, which recognizes top up-and-coming lawyers. Cunning was recognized in the Intellectual Property Litigation category and Whitehead in Antitrust Litigation and Criminal Defense: White Collar.

Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. Of those nominated, only five percent of the total lawyers in the state are selected for inclusion.

Rising Star honorees are selected based on peer nomination and research. Honorees must be 40 years of age or younger or have been in practice for fewer than 10 years.
