Franchise Times Honors Two Haynes and Boone Partners in Inaugural Legal Eagles Hall of Fame


DALLAS – The Franchise Times has inducted two Haynes and Boone, LLP partners, Joyce Mazero and Deb Coldwell, into its inaugural Legal Eagles Hall of Fame, which recognizes lawyers who have appeared in the magazine’s annual list of best franchise attorneys for 10 years in a row.

As 10-year “Legal Eagles,” Mazero was honored for franchisor and franchisee transactions, while Coldwell was recognized for litigation on behalf of franchisors.

In addition to her role as leader of the firm’s Supply Chain ManagementFranchise and Distribution and Restaurant and Retail Industries practices, Mazero serves as a Director and Trustee on the Boards of both the National Restaurant Association (NRA) Educational Foundation and the International Franchise Association (IFA) Educational Foundation. Mazero also holds a Band 1 ranking by Chambers USA, the highest ranking in the national franchise category.

Coldwell is the incoming Chair of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising and will begin her term in August. She previously served as the editor-in-chief of the Forum’s Franchise Law Journal and is the Forum’s publications officer. Coldwell is currently co-chair of Haynes and Boone’s Sports Law Practice Group.
