Frank Ruttenberg Selected as a 2013 Outstanding Lawyer by San Antonio Business Journal


SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Business Journal (SABJ) has named Haynes and Boone, LLP Frank Ruttenberg as a 2013 Outstanding Lawyer for helping to drive business and make a difference in the local real estate sector.

Honorees were selected based on their impact on a specific legal field, significant cases and pro bono work.

Ruttenberg has been practicing law in San Antonio for more than 30 years, having studied business finance and tax law before moving into commercial and real estate law. As a part of his commercial practice, Ruttenberg has also become known for assisting clients with the purchase, sale, lease and development of real estate projects water development and supply projects and joint ventures for these projects.

He is the currently serving as the co-chairman of the Texas Bar Association Business Law Committee on Limited Liability Companies and Partnerships, chairman of Las Casas Performing Arts Organization, and serves as 1st Vice President and is on the Executive Board of the San Antonio Zoo. Ruttenberg is a graduate of St. Mary’s University School of Law where he received his JD in Law, and New York University School of Law where he received his LLM in Law.

Ruttenberg will be honored at an award luncheon on Dec. 11 at the Westin Riverwalk Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. Winners were also highlighted in a special feature in the SABJ Nov. 15 issue.
