Haynes and Boone a Finalist in Dallas Business Journal’s Best Places to Work Competition

DALLAS – For the second straight year, the employees of Haynes and Boone, LLP have made the firm a finalist in the Dallas Business Journal’s annual Best Places to Work competition. The firm is once again the only law firm finalist in the large company category for 500 or more employees.

Honorees, who are chosen by the results of in-depth employee surveys administered by QMR Corp., will be highlighted at an awards luncheon Sept. 23, and in a special DBJ publication on Sept. 24. The ranking of the top small, medium and large companies will be revealed for the first time at the awards luncheon.

“This designation is especially gratifying because we know that our people are our greatest resource,” said Managing Partner Terry Conner. “The firm culture has been carefully cultivated to reflect that reality. Without our collegial atmosphere and the teamwork we employ to serve our clients, we would be just another law firm.”

Added Sandra Spikes, director of human resources: “It’s great to know that our attorneys and staff appreciate the firm’s commitment to creating a vibrant, rewarding work environment. It’s one thing to talk about goals like that, but quite another to see them reflected in their responses by secret ballot.”

Last year, the firm finished No. 7 overall in the large corporation category, was the only law firm to rank in the top 10 and one of only five law firms among the ranked 162 North Texas businesses.

Haynes and Boone, LLP is an international corporate law firm with offices in Texas, New York, California, Washington, D.C., Mexico City and Moscow, providing a full spectrum of legal services. With more than 525 attorneys, Haynes and Boone is ranked among the largest law firms in the nation by The National Law Journal. The firm consistently has been named one of the "Best Corporate Law Firms in America" (Corporate Board Member Magazine, 2001-2009) and is recognized as a “Top 20 Law Firm” for culture and for diversity with respect to women and minorities (Vault.com, 2011).
