Haynes and Boone Adds Glenn Westreich to San Jose Office


SAN JOSE – Haynes and Boone, LLP has added Glenn Westreich as a litigation partner in its San Jose office.

Mr. Westreich has more than 28 years of experience in general business and intellectual property litigation. He was previously a partner in the San Francisco office of Winston & Strawn LLP.

“Glenn is a powerful player in California’s legal and technology markets,” said David Harper, head of Haynes and Boone’s Intellectual Property Litigation Section. “His experience and contacts will further strengthen our growing team. We are thrilled to have him on board.”

In his practice, Mr. Westreich represents technology companies and their officers and directors in trials at the federal and state court level. He handles a broad range of issues, including patent, copyright and trademark infringement, trade secrets, bankruptcy, and general commercial litigation.

Mr. Westreich is a frequent speaker on patent and technology issues. Recent addresses include presentations at the Advanced Patent Law Institute and IP Counsel Summit in Silicon Valley. In February 2009, Glenn moderated a panel titled “Aggregators and Brokers” during the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology Theory and Practice of Patent Valuation Conference in Berkeley, Calif.
