AUSTIN, Texas – Haynes and Boone, LLP announced that on Friday, November 14, the Firm will move its Austin office from the 16th Floor of One American Center, at the corner of Sixth and Congress, to larger space on the 13th floor of the same building.

In May, Haynes and Boone signed a 10-year lease for the full floor of office space.  The firm will move three floors down to the space previously occupied by the Metropolitan Club. In doing so, the firm will increase its space to more than 31,000 square feet, which will allow for planned long-term future expansion.

“Obviously, this reflects a significant commitment by Haynes and Boone to Austin and the firm’s Austin office,” said Jeff King, administrative partner of the Austin office.  “This space will allow us to continue our strategic expansion, recently reflected with senior corporate, intellectual property and litigation lawyers joining us.”

The firm opted to remain in the same building, after conducting a wide-ranging search and exploring many options throughout Austin. “Though we saw many attractive possibilities, in the end the downtown location was accommodating to our wide-ranging representation of a broad base of industry,” King said.

Haynes and Boone’s Austin office is involved in a broad spectrum of corporate transaction and litigation services, focused on the needs of Austin’s business community, such as bioscience and medical technology, intellectual property, environmental, banking and finance, business litigation, business reorganization and bankruptcy, corporate securities, health care, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and investment funds.

Haynes and Boone, LLP is an international corporate law firm with nine offices throughout Texas, Washington, D.C. and Mexico City providing a full spectrum of legal services to clients around the world. With more than 425 attorneys, Haynes and Boone is ranked among the largest law firms in the nation by National Law Journal.
