Haynes and Boone Attorney Named Chairman of Fort Worth Zoning Commission

April 28, 2005

FORT WORTH – William D. Greenhill, a partner in the Fort Worth office of Haynes and Boone, LLP, has been named chairman of the Fort Worth Zoning Commission.  The attorney joined the panel as a member in November 2003 and has served as the commission’s vice chairman since Nov. 10.

Greenhill replaces Monnie Gilliam, who left the chairmanship in March to run for city council.

The Zoning Commission acts as an advisory board to the Fort Worth City Council, and its nine members are appointed by council members.

Greenhill is expected to bring his business acumen to bear on the many zoning issues currently facing Fort Worth.  He also serves on the Planning and Development Committee for the city of Fort Worth and is a member of the board of directors for the Gladney Center for Adoption.
