Haynes and Boone Elevates Austin Attorney To Partnership Status

DALLAS – Haynes and Boone LLP, an international corporate law firm, announced Friday it elevated Austin-based attorney Hal L. Sanders to partnership status.

Sanders previously served as of counsel for Haynes and Boone, focusing his practice on antitrust matters, business litigation and intellectual property litigation.

Over the last 28 years, Sanders has tried many cases involving antitrust, franchising, commercial law, employment covenants, trademark infringement, patent infringement and trade secrets, while also handling real estate disputes, securities litigation, and suits concerning computer hardware and software.

The 1971 graduate of Abilene Christian University went on to earn a Master’s Degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1972 before graduating from the University of Texas School of Law in 1976.

During law school, Sanders served as associate editor for the Texas Law Review.
