Haynes and Boone Highlighted in Chambers USA 2013


Haynes and Boone, LLP has been recognized in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2013, an annual law firm directory. Chambers highlighted 19 of the firm’s practices along with 51 individual firm lawyers in their rankings.

The firm’s Bankruptcy/Restructuring, Franchising and Intellectual Property practices each earned national rankings.

Within the firm’s national ranking for the Bankruptcy/Restructuring practice, three partners, Robert Albergotti, Charles Beckham Jr. and Robin Phelan, were highlighted as a “team who are very proactive in looking forward and anticipating developments.” Additionally, Albergotti is noted as a “great strategist,” Phelan as “one of the deals of the Texas Bar” and Beckham as "good in terms of analyzing a situation and communicating what is important."

The firm’s Franchise Practice Group maintained its Band 2 national ranking, with the legal firm directory noting the “group has built an impressive reputation in domestic and international contentious and transactional matters.” Within the national ranking, Franchise Partners Joyce Mazero, Deb Coldwell and Robert Lauer were featured individuals. Sources noted Mazero that she has “a robust transactional practice” and is “an expert in her field," while Coldwell was recognized as “a high-profile contentious lawyer" and "a wonderful litigator." 

The Intellectual Property practice maintained its strong national rankings, while the firm’s New York Real Estate – Mainly Corporate and Finance and Texas’ Capital Markets: Debt & Equity groups made their debut in the legal ranking directory. Researchers wrote that the New York Real Estate group is “very responsive, hard-working, thoughtful and have good business sense," and the Texas Capital Markets: Debt & Equity group is “extremely responsive on projects."
