Haynes and Boone Increases Diversity Scorecard Rank

DALLAS – Haynes and Boone, LLP has been ranked No. 54 out of more than 200 law firms in American Lawyer’s annual Diversity Scorecard, jumping 15 spots over last year.

“Diversity is a core principle of Haynes and Boone’s culture,” said Felicity Fowler, labor and employment partner and head of the firm’s attorney diversity committee. “Diversity strengthens our industry and creates opportunities that enhance innovation, client service and business performance.”

Haynes and Boone’s Diversity Committee implements firm-wide initiatives that promote respect and tolerance. “We are currently planning our annual diversity retreat which brings lawyers of all levels together to discuss how we can remain at the forefront of diversity issues,” Ms Fowler said.

Rankings are based on firms' overall percentage of minority lawyers as well as their percentage of minority partners. American Lawyer surveyed 249 firms from The Am Law 200 and The NLJ 250 and received responses from 202 firms.
