Haynes and Boone Lawyers Participate in Latin American Corporate Governance Roundtable Discussion at LSU Law Center Hemispheric Trade Conference

BATON ROUGE – On April 27, three Haynes and Boone partners participated in a prestigious bilingual roundtable discussion on Latin American corporate governance at the Hemispheric Trade Conference, co-sponsored by US AID and the Inter-American Bank and held at Louisiana State University Law Center.

The Haynes and Boone delegation was led by Larry B. Pascal, a partner in the Dallas office and chair of the Americas Practice Group at the firm.  Mr. Pascal, co-chaired the 20-member roundtable discussion group, and spoke on the OECD White Paper on Corporate Governance for Latin America.  Antonio Franck, a partner in the Mexico City office, spoke on the recent reforms to the Mexican Securities Law.  Dennis Cassell, a corporate partner in the Dallas office, specializing in representation of public companies, spoke on the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and its applicability for Latin America.
