DALLAS – Haynes and Boone, LLP announced that A. Michael Warnecke has made partner with the firm.  Mr. Warnecke is in the Dallas office and practices in the firm’s continuously expanding antitrust and white collar criminal defense section.
Mr. Warnecke joined the firm in September 1994 and has concentrated his practice on commercial and consumer fraud.  He represents corporations and their executives facing criminal and civil liability resulting from government investigations.  Mr. Warnecke has experience with investigations into alleged violations of the antitrust, environmental, health care and securities laws.  Additionally, Mr. Warnecke has broad experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil business disputes.
Mr. Warnecke is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; American Bar Association Sections of Litigation and Criminal Justice; State Bar of Texas Section of Litigation; Dallas Bar Association; and the College of the State Bar of Texas.  He earned his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1991.  While there he received a senior fellowship, one of the school’s highest academic honors, and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.  In 1994, he earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law where he graduated with honors.
