Haynes and Boone, LLP Lawyer Appointed by Governor Rick Perry to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners

HOUSTON - Governor Rick Perry has appointed Paul Dickerson, a business planning and taxation attorney at Haynes and Boone, L.L.P. in Houston, to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners.  The 9-member board was created by the Legislature in 1949 to promote, preserve, and protect the health, safety, and economic welfare of the people of Texas through the regulation of the practice of chiropractic.
This appointment follows a recent string of state-wide appointments received by Mr. Dickerson.  Last week, he was appointed by the Texas Commission of Licensing and Regulation to serve on both the Property Tax Consultants Advisory Council and the Elevator Advisory Board.  Dickerson is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He received a bachelor’s of business administration in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from South Texas College of Law.
