CHICAGO – Larry B. Pascal, partner at Haynes and Boone, LLP and chair of the firm’s Americas Practice Group, recently addressed the International Bar Association Annual Meeting as part of a panel of  international aviation specialists.

Mr. Pascal was one of several experts who explored the topic, “Nationality of Airlines - The Chicago Convention Regime” on Sept. 18.

The panel discussed the Chicago Convention and the most influential bilateral aviation agreements using a case study approach for airlines in Europe, Latin America and Africa to assess the regulatory regime in civil aviation that has existed for more than 60 years, and the effects on commerce of this framework.

Mr. Pascal is a leading Latin American aviation expert who has advised American Airlines, Grupo Taca, Aerolineas Argentinas, Sabre and Aviall on numerous matters in the region.
