Haynes and Boone Presents "Counseling the Board: Whistle Blowers and Internal Investigations" as Part of Its Legal Officers Forum Seminar Series

RICHARDSON, Texas–Haynes and Boone, LLP, a full-service law firm, announced that it will host a seminar entitled “Counseling the Board: Whistle Blowers and Internal Investigations” on Thursday, June 6, 2002. The seminar  will run from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Omni Hotel at 701 E. Campbell Road (Northeast corner of I-75 and Campbell) in Richardson.  The seminar is designed for senior officers with a legal, financial or managerial background.  The seminar is free, with registration and continental breakfast beginning at 7:00 a.m. and the program beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The seminar will cover counseling the board and managing an internal investigation, including issues such as disclosure, document destruction policies, control of the investigation, attorney-client privilege, lessons learned from Enron, and responding to whistle blowers.  Panelists and presenters include Trey Nicoud, Associate General Counsel, American Airlines, Elaine Rodriguez, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, CellStar Corporation and Kathy Beasley, Bill Finegan, Larry Gaydos and Bill Kleinman, Partners, Haynes and Boone, LLP.
