Haynes and Boone Repeats Strong Showing in Chambers USA 2014 Rankings, Chambers & Partners, May 2014

Chambers USA has once again recognized Haynes and Boone, LLP in its annual Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2014.

“We are proud to be featured again in the Chambers USA legal directory,” said Terry Conner, the firm’s managing partner. “As a firm, we strive to continually strengthen our deep bench talent and top-tier service to clients and Chambers serves as a great touch point of what our clients and peers are saying about their experience with us.”

The legal directory features 17 of the firm’s practices and 49 individual lawyers, with two of the firm’s practice groups, Bankruptcy/Restructuring and Franchising, included in the national rankings.

The Bankruptcy/ Restructuring Practice Group maintained its national ranking with clients saying the practice group members are “honest, creative, hard-working and smart” and their “objectivity, fast response and willingness to see different problems and different perspectives in different situations” is what makes them stand out.

The legal directory went on to highlight individual Senior Counsels Robert Albergotti and Robin Phelan and Partner Charles Beckham and Lenard Parkins. Albergotti is noted for his work in business-critical corporate reorganizations and out-of-court workouts, while clients regarded Phelan as “creative, user-friendly, hard-working and very smart” and Beckham as “a really effective and smart guy.” Parkins was selected as a “recommended practitioner.”

In addition to Parkins, the legal directory included Dallas Partner Kit Addleman as a “recommended practitioner” in the nationwide Securities Practice.

The firm’s Franchise Practice Group repeated its appearance in the national list, with clients complimenting the practice for its “exceptional job of providing customer-enriching educational opportunities.” Franchise Partners Deborah Coldwell and Robert Lauer were also recognized individually. Coldwell is said to be “very poised, thoughtful and smart,” while clients praised Robert Lauer as “incredibly efficient and cost-effective.”

Litigation Partner Barry F. McNeil was also recognized individually in the nationwide listing for his work in the antitrust space with two rankings, a Band 1 ranking in the Antitrust- Cartel practice and a Band 3 in the Antitrust practice, while Energy Partner Walter S. Keneally received a Band 4 in the Projects national list.

Independent and objective, Chambers USA is carefully researched and widely considered to be the most reputable law firm directory in the world. Its rankings are based on thousands of interviews with leading practitioners and clients from coast to coast.
