Haynes and Boone Shortlisted for National M&A Award for Role in Two High Level Acquisitions


DALLAS – Haynes and Boone, LLP has been shortlisted for the 9th Annual M&A Mergers and Acquisitions Awards for its role in representing the acquiror in two separate energy industry M&A deals.

Haynes and Boone partners Jan Sharry, rel="noopener noreferrer" Bob rel="noopener noreferrer" Albergotti and Sue Murphy advised Rise Energy Partners, LP in a series of 2009 distressed debt transactions nominated for Middle Market Deal of the Year. Rise acquired offshore oil and gas leases and assets from rel="noopener noreferrer" Pacific Energy Resources Ltd.

Houston-based Partner Arthur Nathan represented Wood Group, PLC in its acquisition of Michael Baker Corporation’s energy services division. The transaction is a finalist for Cross Border Deal of the Year.

The M&A Advisor Awards honor excellence in deal-making. Haynes and Boone is among 234 finalists in 47 categories representing transactions totaling more than $10 million in value. Finalists will be announced at the awards gala on Dec. 14 in New York City.
