Haynes and Boone Staff Aim To Raise $20,000 For Tsunami Relief With Garage Sale

HOUSTON – The legal assistants for Haynes and Boone LLP, an international corporate law firm, will host a super-size garage sale April 23 at the Allen House Apartments in Houston to raise $20,000 in relief funds for the victims of the recent Asian tsunami.

Funds from the sale will be given to the U.S. fund for UNICEF – Tsunami relief to aid in the group’s efforts to help the victims of December’s tragedy.

Attorneys and staff at Haynes and Boone have been collecting garage sale items since early March, and will host a drop-off day on April 2 at the Allen House Apartments clubhouse, 3535 W. Dallas, open to anyone who has items to donate.

The massive outdoor sale later in the month will spread tents and assorted sundries across the visitor parking lot of the Allen House Apartments, 3601 Allen Parkway, at the corner of Allen Parkway and Dunlavy.
