Haynes and Boone’s Bill Greenhill Elected President of Tarrant County College District Board of Trustees


FORT WORTHBill Greenhill, of counsel at Haynes and Boone, LLP, has been elected president of the Tarrant County College Board of Trustees. His six-year term runs though 2016.

As president, Mr. Greenhill will be responsible for not only leading meetings of the board of directors, but being an advocate for the college as it continues to implement best practices and serve the Tarrant County community.

In 2010, Mr. Greenhill was elected to District 4, serving West Fort Worth, Azle, Haslet, Keller, Watauga, North Richland Hills and Haltom City.

A graduate of the University of Texas Law School, he has been practicing law for more than 30 years and was selected as one of 12 pre-eminent attorneys by the Fort Worth Business Press in its 2010 ‘Power Attorneys’ list. In addition, he was chosen by his peers as a ‘Top Attorney’ in Fort Worth Magazine’s 2008 and 2009 ‘Top Attorneys in Corporate Finance/Mergers & Acquisitions’ list. He was also recognized as a Best Lawyer in America for Project Finance Law, 2010-2011.

At Haynes and Boone, Bill advises corporate decision makers, in-house counsel and financial industry executives on structuring complicated corporate and financial transactions to promote their business objectives. His clients include established public and private corporations involved in debt, equity, and merger and acquisition transactions; financial institutions involved in structured financings; and start-up companies with goals to either “go public” or to build up their business to become attractive for purchase; and businesses, including underwriters, borrowers, collateral agents and trustees involved in sophisticated taxable and tax exempt municipal transactions.  

Tarrant County College District (TCCD), a comprehensive two-year institution established in 1965, is dedicated to providing quality education that exceeds the expectations of the people of Tarrant County. Nearly 50,000 students are enrolled in TCCD's associate degree and technical programs, making it the seventh largest among Texas colleges and universities.
