HispanicBusiness Features Haynes and Boone Partner in Top 50 Influentials Ranking


DALLAS – Haynes and Boone, LLP Partner Rafael Anchia has been honored in the HispanicBusiness’ Top 50 United States Hispanic Influentials ranking.

Individuals listed in the Influentials ranking were selected by HispanTelligence, the research arm of HispanicBusiness Inc., based on promotion of the advancement of Hispanics in the United States through leadership, community involvement and professional achievements. Anchia was selected for the ranking’s Texas Focus category.

He has been elected to the Texas House of Representatives four times to serve District 103, which includes parts of Dallas, Irving, Carrollton and Farmers Branch. He is the vice-chair of the Pensions, Investments and Financial Services Committee and serves on the Sunset Advisory Commission.

Additionally, Anchia is a member of the Leadership Dallas Alumni Association, the Dallas Assembly, the Southern Methodist University Clements Center on Southwest Studies and the Oak Cliff Lions Club.

In his practice at Haynes and Boone, Anchia represents financial institutions and public and private funds in a variety of transactions involving, among other things, senior and subordinated debt and equity, domestic and international syndications, and distressed debt acquisitions and sales.

According to the publication, the HispanicBusiness Influentials ranking covers a diverse range of U.S.-Hispanic professionals from public service and private enterprise, with an emphasis on Texas this year.
