Lynne Liberato Inducted into Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas’ 2012 Hall of Achievement

HOUSTON – Lynne Liberato, a partner at Haynes and Boone, LLP, is one of three laureates inducted into the Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas’ (JASET) 2012 JA Hall of Achievement.

Liberato’s induction is a result of her accomplishments in Houston’s legal community, including service as the first female president of the Houston Bar Association and president of the State Bar Of Texas, as well as her commitment to public service, including service as the chair of the United Way of Greater Houston.

The 2012 laureates were selected by a committee comprised of previous inductees of the JA Hall of Achievement and the JASET Board of Directors. The other inductees are Earl Hesterberg, president and CEO of Group 1 Automotive, Inc. and James Mulva, chairman and CEO of ConocoPhillips.

“These laureates epitomize the entrepreneurial spirit while being positive role models for the young people who would walk in their footsteps,” said Rick Franke, president of the Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas.

Laureates are honored in a permanent educational display within the JASET experiential learning center. Each laureate’s life story is displayed to share a unique perspective of the individual’s life as a child and adult in hopes that children look at the stories and find threads of inspiration and motivation to dream bigger, work harder, and most importantly, never give up on themselves.

The JA Hall of Achievement was founded by JASET in 2006, and has inducted eighteen Houstonians to-date. The induction ceremony will take place on March 29 at the Hilton Americas - Downtown Houston. To learn more about the event, visit
