Lynne Liberato Kicks off United Way Campaign as Community Campaign Chair


HOUSTON – Haynes and Boone, LLP Partner Lynne Liberato helped kick off the 2013-2014 United Way Community Campaign at Jones Hall as community campaign chair of an effort to raise $84 million. Liberato is the first lawyer to hold this position.

During the event, Liberato highlighted how community support is essential to the families who depend on the organization. Liberato emphasized how United Way supports families by providing them with the tools and resources necessary to change their lives and positively affect the community.

Houston Texans President and United Way Board Member Jamey Rootes, Houston Texans football player Duane Brown and United Way of Greater Houston President and CEO Anna M. Babin also spoke at the kickoff event.

At Haynes and Boone, Liberato co-heads the firm’s Appellate Practice Group and has handled some of the most significant trials and appeals in Texas, including before the United States and Texas Supreme Courts.
