Haynes and Boone Foreign Counsel Patricia Mastropierro Named to Latinvex Top 100 Female Latin American Lawyer List

Haynes and Boone Argentine Foreign Counsel Patricia Mastropierro has been named one of the Top 100 female lawyers practicing in Latin America by Latinvex, the Miami-based publisher of daily news and weekly analysis on Latin America business.

The Dallas-based Mastropierro was also honored for her work in a second Latinvex list of the top lawyers handling corporate/M&A matters in Latin America. Last year, the news service named her one of its rising Latin America legal stars.

At Haynes and Boone, Mastropierro focuses her practice on Latin American corporate, aviation and litigation matters. Her experience includes representation of numerous companies in corporate and commercial matters.

The editorial staff of Latinvex selects the top 100 female lawyers specializing in Latin America among international law firms. The news service looked at about 100 law firms and chose 100 attorneys from 57 different firms based in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and the Cayman Islands.

Selection criteria includes recent track record on major deals and business, prominence of firm in Latin America and rankings by third parties such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and Thomson Reuters.

Latinvex editors pointed out that Mastropierro has worked for more than 15 years advising companies doing business Latin America and the Caribbean, assisting them on their cross-border projects, including commercial transactions and regulatory, aviation and litigation matters.
