PERE Summit: Asia 2013 Features Haynes and Boone Partners


HONG KONG – Two Haynes and Boone, LLP partners served as speakers at the PERE Summit: Asia 2013, one of the leading real estate private equity conferences in Asia.

Albert C. Tan, co-chair of Haynes and Boone’s Global Capital Commitment Subscription Financing Group, moderated a financing and credit trends panel, which focused on how the changes in government regulation/policy across global markets are creating opportunities for lenders and real estate private equity funds in Asia Pacific.

Taylor H. Wilson, chair of the firm’s Investment Funds Practice Group, participated in the regulatory update panel, which focused on how the recent increase in regulation of fund managers in the United States, Europe and Asia is affecting real estate investment across the Asia region.

At Haynes and Boone, Tan regularly represents investment and commercial banks in connection with bank financings for private equity funds in the Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America, while Wilson advises investment advisers to both domestic and offshore funds with respect to fund formation and investment management activities.

The PERE Summit: Asia 2013 had more than 430 investment professionals and institutional investors in attendance from the Asia Pacific region and around the globe.
