Toreador Resources Corporation Public Offering of Common Stock

DALLAS – Lawyers from Dallas-based Haynes and Boone, LLP represented Toreador Resources Corporation in the underwritten public offering of 1,437,500 shares of the company’s common stock at a public offering price of $24.25 per share.  Total offering size of the transaction amounted to approximately $34.8 million.

The offering was underwritten by the investment banking firm Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc.  Lawyers from Houston-based Bracewell & Patterson, L.L.P. represented Morgan Keegan in the offering.

Toreador announced the offering on January 4 and the transaction closed on February 16.

Toreador, based in Dallas, is an independent international energy company engaged in oil and natural gas exploration, development, production, leasing and acquisition activities.  Toreador’s common stock is listed on the Nasdaq National Market under the symbol “TRGL.”
