Haynes and Boone represents American Traffic Solutions, Inc. in a series of lawsuits brought by BusPatrol America LLC alleging trade secret misappropriation among other claims. This is a lawsuit among competitors that BusPatrol has characterized as a “bet the company” case. The first action resulted in the TRO being summarily dissolved and the case being dismissed without liability to American Traffic Solutions. The second case resulted in a failed TRO effort, a dismissal without liability to American Traffic Solutions and a pending issue involving whether or not BusPatrol will be required to pay fees and expenses resulting from its unsuccessful litigations. The matter is ongoing.
