When the SEC issued subpoenas and otherwise sought to assist The Israeli Securities Authority in its criminal investigation of the U.S.-based chief medical officer of an Israeli pharmaceutical company, Haynes and Boone challenged the supboenas on constitutional grounds in federal court. The challenge successfully delayed enforcement of the subpoenas until the company and its chief medical officer could resolve favorably the ISA's investigation.
