Profile

Matt Ferris is a partner in the Restructuring Practice Group. He has substantial experience across a broad range of financial restructurings and bankruptcy proceedings, representing lenders and lender groups, creditors, bondholders, debtors, asset purchasers, and other strategic parties in connection with out of court workouts, complex chapter 11 proceedings, DIP and exit financings, Section 363 sales, and bankruptcy litigation. Matt also has significant experience representing secured lenders, landlords, and other key constituents in health care workouts and bankruptcies.

Matt was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2018 for Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law, and has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star, Thomson Reuters, every year from 2012-2017.
