Bradford Lavender is co-chair of the Real Estate Practice Group in the New York office of Haynes and Boone. Brad is active in all areas of real estate and real estate finance, including joint ventures, development, sales, acquisitions, mortgage and mezzanine loan originations and restructurings, and leasing. Brad’s clients include private equity funds, REITs, closely-held real estate companies and local developers. He has recently been involved in numerous joint venture transactions for various asset classes, including hotels, multifamily apartment complexes, office buildings, retail centers and development projects. Over the past several years, he has also been involved in the restructuring of over $2 billion of mortgage and mezzanine loans. Additionally, in recent years Brad represented the State of New York in its purchase of the James A. Farley Post Office Building in Manhattan, the future home of Moynihan Station.
