Biography

Patricia Mastropierro is a partner in Haynes Boone’s International Practice Group and Mexico City Office Managing Partner. For more than 29 years, she has advised clients on cross-border transactions, aviation regulatory matters, Latin America-focused M&A and the legal issues involved in establishing, expanding and maintaining international operations.

Patricia regularly works with U.S. and foreign companies on commercial transactions, regulatory compliance and market-entry matters in Latin America. Her aviation practice includes advising airlines on foreign regulatory compliance, airport access rights, slot allocations and permitting across multiple jurisdictions. Her practice includes strategic guidance on establishing and sustaining international operations, as well as navigating the legal and regulatory frameworks of more than 35 countries. She advises organizations on the development and implementation of compliance programs across the region, conducts internal investigations, and assists with remediation and corrective action plans to strengthen compliance and mitigate risk.

She has served as trusted counsel to one of the largest U.S. airlines and its regional affiliates, managing a wide array of international legal issues and cross-border initiatives. Her work spans transactional, commercial, regulatory, and dispute resolution matters, positioning her as a go-to advisor in international transactions and aviation space.
