FCPA - Preventing and Managing Corruption: Good business practice = Good business

February 02, 2010

Recent trends demonstrate that virtually every industry is vulnerable to potential liability under the FCPA and Anti-Bribery Convention. Moreover, regulators are trending to conduct both industry-wide reviews and global investigations of targeted organizations.

In a highly dynamic and interactive workshop, Haynes and Boone, LLP and Control Risks will introduce attendees to a comprehensive approach to prevent, detect and remediate violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the Anti-Bribery Convention. Working though a scenario-based exercise, participants will manage a real world FCPA challenge, examining both prevention and remediation, and experience firsthand the complexities of dealing with this corruption risk. Our experts will share with attendees their holistic and all-encompassing views on how organizations can not only prevent a violation, but manage a violation successfully if it occurs.

This course is PENDING MCLE credit by the State Bar of Texas Committee on MCLE.
